Great review as always. The story hooked me in from the start and I am always engaged with the characters throughout the story. I have to say that I don't like Atoli in this part, I can kinda understand what she is going through, but her constant reliance on Sakaki is really irritating. I am also surprised that she didn't see Haseo is someone she can rely on, not one bit, even after everything Haseo has gone so far.

The finale of Rebirth plays a big part in that. As she for some time continues to push that connection away while still grasping for it, because of the betrayal of not 'seeing' her, but Shino. At least, from her viewpoint; compounded by all the misunderstandings that come between them. Which takes a while to be broken of. Whereas with Sakaki, she only sees the confidant who would never betray her trust, as he has long earned it; most of which came from the act of how they first met....Yeah. Twenty minute diatribe in part 5 on her character. And yes, I find the Sakaki reliance irritating as well; simply because he is undeserving of the attention she showers him with.
