  3. (reposted due to a mistake I didn't see until posting. My bad. Should've checked more)

Maybe I missed it when I went through her chunk of episodes, but Saya's behavior didn't strike me as someone who was just as addicted to the Delta Gear as the others. Or, at the very least, she was, but she was better at controlling herself than her fellows and stole it specifically to keep it away from the others, and hopefully pass it onto someone who WOULDN'T get addicted, hence her testing Takumi on his character. She was personally a great character...who was yet again a victim of Inoue-style sexism, at least for me, anyway.

I mean, at least, they could've let her transform on-screen at least once, maybe even survive one battle, also to show that in the aftermath, the belt IS eating away at her, before biting it in the next one. Maybe my opinion on Mihara will change later on after a second perspective, though he wasn't bad per se, but personally, I still think she was still the most worthy of the Delta Gear, and one of the best female Riders that we never really had. I personally attribute Delta's first scene and the rampage against Itsurou to her, to add to that.

Also, I wonder if Keitaro's extreme do-gooder attitude was meant to be a mockery or something to be praised. Hard to tell. Either way, it's not an endearing trait, for sure. And after this, while I wish the initial teasers for the show weren't just leading us on that we would finally get a lead female Kamen Rider, kind of glad MARI herself wasn't the lead Rider.
