Tokusatsu in review: Kamen Rider Yongou

Shinta quickly gives his thoughts on the netmovies that conclude The latest Taisen film after Yonemura refused to end his film by syncing it with canon…which becomes an event that’s better than the Movie itself and ejects the Taisen films from Continuity?!?
…Well, to be Fair, they Contradicted canon all the time to begin with.

  1. I think that the net movies are better than the theatrical one is because the staffs who did the theatrical releases only focusing on profit, to sell toys, harbor on people's nostalgic to gain profit, even if it means sacrificing the quality of story telling.

While the net movies, since they are not focusing more on profit, the staffs that handle those works usually care for story telling. They care for the characters that were written and the stories that were told. They know that the Taisen movies have screwed up, so they try to fix it so that somehow they would not kill the Kamen Rider franchise like the Showa era. In other words, they care.

Heck, I say even the Precure franchise has gotten better after the abomination Happiness Charge as well as the stupid All Stars New Stage cross over films. And if they don't screw up Maho Girls next year, things would go better in Toei.

  2. You know constant re-spawning here of the riders looked similar to Edge of tommorow where Tom Cruise died couple of times before things go ok.
Atleast it look more tolerable then movie itself.

  3. Mouri Nobuhiro did better with the Kamen Rider franchise in this one instance than Yomemura has done in the past 10 years. wow. just fucking wow.
