Asakura strikes and the Series storyline is thrown for a loop, as casualties in the first rider war continue to mount.
When you are driven to fight, all you can do is Survive.
Oh god the story just scream the words "Stupid" so many times that it isn't even funny or entertaining any more. I also don't like how this series has the nerve to be called "Kamen Rider" when they taught kids not to be selfless.
Another thing I don't like is, while I do like Ohja, I still don't like how the Rider wars just keep pulling out rules out of their ass, why does Ohja has more than 1 contract cards? Why only give 2 Survive cards? What is the point of summoning multiple mirror monsters when you only need at least 13? Why did the series mentioned there are 13 riders when the TV riders only showed 10?
AARGHHHH!!!! So many questions raised yet they answered none of them!
Regardless, I will looking forward for your review of the 2 movies. Also why is Homura Ryuga in the Ryuki and Madoka fanart? Shouldn't she be Odin?
No Idea, ti's one to two ones I found that have the madoka-ryuki Cross. But I don't think Homura would be very reflective of Odin. She's either Ryuga--a dark inversion of the title character; or Knight, in that she is the real protagonist when you take a bigger look at the story
Personally I blame the writes and production crew. Suppose every rider has survive form but since KR is seasonal show not soap like DBZ etc so they are irrelevant
David, the videos have been done for over a month. I know about the hypocrisy of Ryuki's white death. I don't work like other internet reviewers, the videos don't get made until I've watched *EVERYTHING*
Though Kyoko as Zolda works just fine for me with them both having that "fight for yourself" attitude that works for their characters. Though she does have more then a few similarities in common with Ouja, at least at first. There's some things one shouldn't forget. As for Sayaka, I really hate to say this but she seems to fit more as a more adjusted and sane version of Tiger. Now I won't say why I'll just let everyone else at home who hasn't seen all of Ryuki figure it out for themselves.
Shinta, first off I want to thank you for taking the time and effort to recap and discuss the Kamen Rider series. You've been doing a great job with these videos, granted I'm a bit new to the series, having only recently watched Kuuga. Second, after watching the scene with Yui's reflection in your video(15:10) I think I know what's wrong with it.
Yui's reflection is in the wrong place.I think this is best seen with two points. First is Miyuki looking to the reflection, then to Yui. He's looking from his left to his front, and both of them face him. Second, Yui in the reflection is in front of the building's architecture, while the real Yui is in front of a window facing outward.
Of course, as typical of Ryuki's story(at least what I can tell from your review) this just raises further questions! I'm pretty sure we don't see this happen anywhere else in the show. And even so, how exactly is this happening? I guess this would be used to signify her living off of the life of her mirror self, but like the rest of the mirror world, they don't explain a thing!
Needless to say, I'm probably not going to see this series anytime soon. If I want a Battle Royale scenario that discusses the nature and problems of heroism, I think I'll stick with the Fate series.
